About Raymond 

My photography journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were in the middle of a quarantine. Since there wasn't anywhere we could go, especially in Bakersfield where I was staying at the time, I would go on long walks or bike rides around the neighborhood. There were very few people out at the time, so I felt comfortable filming myself. I also began taking photos with my iPhone 8, my first photography camera. I would post these videos and photos on my Instagram story. I felt cool sharing with others the places I was visiting through the photos and videos I was capturing during the quarantine. I became motivated to keep finding things to take photos of and show others the beauty I saw everywhere I went. I discovered and began fostering my "photographic eye". I developed my first artistic hobby, a hobby I could be proud of. A hobby that helped me recognize, appreciate, and share the beauty in all the little things of our world. I've been taking photos of anything and everything ever since. It doesn't matter if I'm at a mall, park, IKEA, Home Depot, a college campus, a car meet, a neighborhood, etc. I always try to find something beautiful, cool, or interesting to take a photo of. There is beauty in every part of our world. You just have to #findthebeauty ​
